At Christ the King, you’ll find a church filled with people who have many different stories. Some folks at our church have been following Jesus for decades; others are new believers. Even others are just beginning to consider who Jesus is and what he has done. We believe that no one is so bad they are beyond the reach of God’s grace, and no one is so good they aren’t in constant need of that same grace. No matter where you’ve been, you are welcome at Christ the King, and we are glad that our paths have crossed.

Christ the King is a church committed to a mission of faithful presence—to God, one another, and the world. Faithful means that our mission both grows out of our faith and that it persists through the ups and downs of life in a broken world. Presence conveys our desire to be with, in, and for. We desire to enjoy communion with God, to fellowship with and love one another, and to pursue the flourishing of our place and the world.

We believe that our faithful presence grows especially as we gather together each week in worship. There we rehearse the story of the gospel each week—remembering God’s holiness and majesty, confessing our sins, receiving his forgiveness, giving, hearing from the Bible, and being sent out with God’s blessing. In our worship, we remember that God has first been faithfully present to us in Jesus.
